How to boost audience engagement at events

By following these rules, you can create events that not only attract attention but also deeply engage your audience. Get inspired, experiment, and make each event unique and memorable.

  1. Always Engage Your Audience. Don’t let your guests be mere spectators. Engagement turns them into active participants. For example, incorporate interactive polls or live voting during presentations

  1. Use Inspiring Technologies. Virtual and augmented reality can make your events unforgettable. At one of our exhibitions, we used VR headsets to allow guests to virtually test our products.

  1. Interactive Kiosks Are More Than Just Screens. They offer opportunities for interaction. Touchscreen kiosks can feature games, quizzes, or surveys to capture guests’ attention.

  1. Gamification Is Both Fun and Effective. Implement games or competitions with prizes. At one of our events, we organized a quest where participants earned points for completing tasks and received gifts.

  1. Live Polls and Q&A Sessions Provide Instant Connection. Use these tools to get real-time feedback. After each session, ask the audience questions through an app and display the results live.

  1. Photo Booths and Social Media Walls Are Great for Engagement. Create vibrant photo zones and encourage guests to share their photos on social media. One of our successful projects featured an interactive wall that displayed photos with the event hashtag in real-time.

  1. Know Your Audience. Understanding who your guests are and what interests them helps create a personalized experience. Segment your audience and offer different activities for different groups.

  1. Keep It Clear and Simple. Interactive elements should be easy to use. Place instructions next to interactive kiosks and offer staff assistance.

  1. Integrate Interactivity with the Event Theme. Everything should harmonize with the overall concept. For example, if your event theme is sustainability, use interactive displays to show how your products contribute to sustainable development.

  1. Collect and Analyze Data. Use interactive elements to gather data. Offer guests to fill out surveys on interactive kiosks and analyze the data to improve future events.

  1. Encourage Participation. Stimulate guests to participate by offering prizes or recognition. Hand out souvenirs for completing surveys or participating in contests.

  1. Be Innovative. Don’t be afraid to experiment and try new things. At one of our events, we used drones to deliver gifts to attendees, which created a huge buzz.

  1. Focus on the Attendee Experience. Your guests should be at the center of attention. Create relaxation zones and interactive spaces where they can unwind and network.

  1. Listen to Your Team. Your team is your eyes and ears at the event. Listen to their ideas and feedback. After each event, gather the team to discuss what can be improved.
